We want to provide you an update on the communication plans we have put in place to help address the changing nature of the Coronavirus, and its impact on our community. We want to assure you that we are receiving regular updates through our relationship with Methodist Hospital as well as staying on top of updates and information provided by the Center for Disease Control? www.cdc.gov? and the Texas Health Department of State Health ?www.dshs.texas.gov.
In regard to our facilities, we strive to provide as safe an environment as possible. We have a full-time housekeeping staff seven days a week who do an excellent job of maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities. In our worship spaces and classrooms as well as our childcare areas, we will continue to sanitize and sterilize all spaces and remain diligent in wiping down counters, doorknobs and toys as they are used.

For now, we are providing our regular worship services as scheduled.? We encourage those who are elderly or at-risk, to join us for our online worship services for each of our worship venues. You can live stream the Harvest service at 9:30 a.m. and the Traditional and Loft services at 11:00 a.m. at thewoodlandsumc.org.

As a church with a heart for serving others, we want to help those who are struggling and who may need spiritual support and prayer. If you know of anyone in need – particularly senior adults, or those who are impaired? – or if you have personal prayer concerns, you can let us know by going to? www.thewoodlandsumc.org/prayer We have pastors and staff who will be responding to the prayer requests, concerns or needs that are sent to this prayer form.

While we may be staying close to home a little more these days, we encourage you to connect with family or those around you who may be particularly isolated at this time. Phone calls, texts, emails and FaceTime, Skype or other technology can enable us to stay in community and continue to care for one another.

Do not be anxious about anything,?but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,?which transcends all understanding,?will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
