The Woodlands Express Revised Park and Ride Schedule Effective Monday, April 6, 2020

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The Woodlands Express Park and Ride schedule has been revised.

The revisions are in response to continuing reductions seen in ridership levels to the Downtown and Greenway Plaza locations. This reduced schedule will help to manage the cost of service while still providing adequate space for social distancing and seat spacing on board the buses. Please view the revised schedule here.

The Woodlands Express will still provide service to Downtown Houston, the Texas Medical Center, and Greenway Plaza, with nine runs available in the morning and 11 runs available in the afternoon. All runs to the Texas Medical Center will remain in place.

To better serve medical community passengers during this unprecedented time, the 7 p.m. Sunsetter run will now begin in the Texas Medical Center, arriving downtown at approximately 7:30 p.m. Due to the overall reduction seen in Houston area traffic, it will still be anticipated to arrive at the Research Forest Park and Ride between 8 and 8:15 p.m.

The midday run (starting in the Texas Medical Center at 12:30 p.m., arriving downtown at 1 p.m.) will remain in place. Passengers are also encouraged to download and use the mobile ticketing app. Future announcements will be made if additional schedule adjustments are implemented.

At this time, all Woodlands Express buses are available for reverse commute rides back to the Research Forest Park and Ride. Please indicate to the driver that this is your intention. For more information, please call (281) 210-3800 and ask for the Transportation Department.
