Patriot Day Of Remembrance in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Residents, visitors and first responders are invited to come together for the Patriot Day of Remembrance to honor those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.

7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Held outside the Central Fire Station, the Patriot Day of Remembrance ceremony will honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11 and pay tribute to the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, military members and other first responders who demonstrated extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable danger.

The program will feature a Presentation of Colors by The Woodlands Fire Department Honor Guard, a reading of The Fireman’s Prayer, and The Ringing of the Bell in remembrance of fallen firefighters.

The Patriot Day of Remembrance serves as a lasting tribute to the lives forever changed on September 11 and a reminder of the courage, compassion and service that brought communities together in its aftermath.

Limited onsite parking will be available at Central Fire Station. For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be streamed live on The Woodlands Township Facebook page at facebook.com/thewoodlandstownship.
