Juveniles Arrested For Evading Constable Deputies In A Stolen Vehicle

SPRING, TX -- On May 01, 2020, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 23200 block of Creek Park Drive in reference to an in-progress Burglary of a Motor Vehicle call.

Upon deputies arriving, they observed the stolen vehicle leaving the subdivision and immediately initiated a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.

Constable Deputies were able to stop the vehicle in the 800 block of East Rittenhouse Road. The driver and two passengers exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Deputies set a police perimeter and with the assistance of DPS air support conducted a search of the area. After an extensive search, three male suspects were apprehended and identified as juveniles.

'The juveniles were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. The driver was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading in a Motor Vehicle, and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. Both passengers were charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.' - Constable Mark Herman
