The Woodlands Fire Department respond to fire in Grogan's Mill

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Early this evening The Woodlands Fire Department responded to Sunbird Court in Grogan’s Mill on a reported structure fire. Engine 103 arrived and reported a working fire in a two-story single family home. Firefighters rescued two residents from the home who were subsequently treated and then taken to the hospital by Montgomery County Hospital District for potential smoke inhalation. Crews knocked the fire down in under ten minutes limiting fire damage to kitchen and attic. Fire cause was ruled accidental, unattended cooking. TWFD was assisted by South County Fire and Timberlakes Volunteer Fire Dept.
