Eric Thiergood Joins Kean Miller Office in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Kean Miller, a 157-attorney full-service law firm in Texas and Louisiana, announced the addition of Eric R. Thiergood, Sr. as a partner in its office in The Woodlands, Texas. Eric joins the Kean Miller team, having come from The Strong Firm P.C. in The Woodlands, and will be reuniting with longtime former colleague, Royce Lanning. The addition of Thiergood is the next step in Kean Miller’s ongoing expansion into Montgomery County. Kean Miller also has offices in downtown Houston and in six locations in Louisiana.

Mr. Thiergood’s practice focus is corporate transactional work including mergers and acquisitions; private capital raises; entity selection, structuring, formation, operation, and dissolution; and commercial financing (both lender and borrower side). He also regularly handles large commercial real estate and commercial office condominium projects (buying, selling, leasing, and developing) and other general corporate and contract matters. Thiergood is fluent in Spanish, and he uses this fluency when working with his Spanish speaking-international clients.

Eric was a part of The Strong Firm P.C., for nearly 13 years where he built a solid reputation in both the business/legal community and the charitable/philanthropic community of The Woodlands, including serving on the boards of Montgomery County Youth Services (Yes to Youth); The Montgomery County Community Foundation; and the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
