The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce 42nd Annual Meeting & Awards Program

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 42nd Annual Meetings & Awards Program this Friday, September 25th at 11 AM. The Annual Meeting and Awards Program is a much-anticipated event that is normally held as a luncheon at a local venue. However, this year’s event will be held virtually, aired through a private Facebook Group.

The 2020 Program will include a full agenda overflowing with many surprises and announcements. President & CEO J.J. Hollie will be announcing updates on the Chamber’s year end. Honorees will then be featured receiving their awards. The virtual event will end with announcements from the current chairman of the board Ms. Linda Nelson.

Each year The Chamber receives many nominations recognizing many outstanding individuals for their contributions to our community. JJ Hollie noted, “This year’s event will include exciting announcements on awards and long-term members.”

This year, recognition will be given to:


• 2019-2020 Retiring Board of Directors

• 2019-2020 Team Leaders

• Anniversary Members

Specialty awards will be also given for:

• Community Citizen of The Year

• Diplomat of The Year

• Chamber Volunteer of the Year

• Top Influencer Under 40

• Chairman’s Award

And a special recognition for our outgoing Chairman, Jeff Garrett.
