The John Cooper School Sports: Dragon Basketball Teams Experience Senior Night Wins

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Dragon Basketball Teams Experience Senior Night Wins. Results from the week of December 7, 2020
VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL
12/11 vs. CHSA • 68-24 W
Coach BJ Feuerhelm: To be able to conclude the senior night with a big win is exactly the way we wanted to celebrate Aalyssa, Ajailah, Eve and Kya. These girls have meant so much to our program and it was a joy to honor them Friday night. We are excited to wrap up finals, take a breath and get back to work over the holiday break.
Season Record • 7-1
Next up for Dragon Girls Basketball:
Dec. 18-19 at Frassati Tournament
VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL
12/11 vs. Frassati • 57-50 W
Coach Matthew Wilson: The boys basketball teams had a great week! We celebrated our seniors Friday night to a raucous, socially-distanced crowd. It was a blast. We wish all of the Cooper families a happy holiday and look forward to Frassati Catholic’s Christmas Classic over the break.
Next up for Dragon Boys Basketball:
Dec. 29-30 at Frassati Tournament
VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER
12/11 vs. Magnolia High School • 3-0 L
Coach Amber Clevenger: The rainy game against Magnolia may not have seemed like a bright light, but truth be told, the way we played against a very talented Magnolia team is exactly what I wanted to see before we head into a big winter break. We have been pretty banged up as a team and we put together the best minutes we could with all we had, and for that I am happy. I’m looking forward to what 2021 holds for our team.
