Boys Basketball

College Park 87, Conroe 50

The Cavaliers jumped out to an early lead and never looked backed. As they often do, College Park matched their offensive production with an equally impressive showing on the defensive end. The Cavaliers were led by Drew Calderon’s 18 points, and Jack Mathias and Marvin Dock each added 13 points in the win.

Mikey Sneed was the Tigers’ leading scorer with 11 points.

Oak Ridge 59, Willis 55

The War Eagles bounced back from a loss in the district opener with a close win over the Wildkats. Ian Egele was Oak Ridge’s leading scorer with 17 points, and AJ Osborne added 13.

College Park 54, Aldine 11

CP added another non-district win to their record behind a trio of nine-point performances by Treasure Harrison, Bobbi Bazzle, and Lily Brotherton. Harrison also added six steals to her stat line.

Nikki Petrakovitz continues to light up the scoreboard for the War Eagles. Petrakovitz dropped 32 in Oak Ridge’s fourth-straight win.
