HOUSTON, TX - Lone Star College Foundation Executive Director Nicole Robinson Gauthier, CFRE has been elected president of the Texas Association of Community College Foundations (TACCF). Robinson Gauthier will serve a two-year term.

“It is an honor to serve as TACCF president,” said Robinson Gauthier. “I am excited to partner with so many great community colleges in Texas to continue to share best practices, promote innovative ideas and collaborate on professional development.”

The TACCF is a professional association consisting of executive directors and fundraising professionals employed within Texas community colleges, districts and foundations.

“I have been so honored to lead this organization for the past two years and cannot think of a better individual to take over the reigns than Nicole,” said Mary McQueen, immediate past president of TACCF and Del Mar College Foundation executive director of development. “Her leadership as conference chair for the past two years has resulted in some of the highest conference ratings ever received including an entirely virtual conference in 2021 due to COVID-19 challenges.”

Robinson Gauthier joined LSC in October 2016 and manages more than $34 million in assets, along with producing special fundraising events and building relationships with key constituents. She also ensures that more than $2 million in scholarships and program funds are awarded each year.

TACCF represents 48 of the 51 Texas community colleges with fund development programs and has connected like-minded fundraising professionals through an annual conference and facilitated a regular, high-value exchange of information and ideas since 1995.

“TACCF helps us to better serve and support community college students by educating the future workforce and enhancing the economy of Texas,” said Robinson Gauthier.
