The Woodlands Fire Department Responds To Carlton Woods Fire Caused By Fatal Car Crash

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just before 9:30 Saturday night TWFD and Montgomery County Hospital District were dispatched to a reported fire in the woods in the Carlton Woods Creekside subdivision. While the first unit was responding dispatch received several more calls some reporting an explosion and finally a caller reporting a car had crashed and burst into flames in the 20 Block of Hammock Dunes Place. E 107 arrived and reported a car into a tree heavily involved with fire. After the fire was knocked down firefighters located 2 occupants in the vehicle, both deceased. Harris County Pct 4 and Harris County Fire Marshals Office are conducting the investigation.
