Maps and guides to show how to participate in, celebrate, or avoid the traffic

Approximately 3,000 registered triathletes will run, swim, and bike throughout the area in the all-day event. Historically, traffic has been severely impacted by the event for unsuspecting motorists, and race officials have little doubt that participation will be at a high level due to the hiatus. Several roads will be shut down between various times so that the triathletes can perform in safety. While members of the community are encouraged to show their support for the entrants, those residents wishing to avoid long lines or closed roads are encouraged to refer to the attached maps and guide.

From approximately 7:00 am until midnight this Saturday, the race is in effect, so Woodlands area residents and visitors are urged to maintain extra awareness of thsir surroundings while on the road.
