Storms Cause Significant Damage at Inspiration Ranch – Community Support Needed Before Summer Session Begins June 2
MAGNOLIA, TX -- Inspiration Ranch, a local nonprofit that provides equine-assisted therapy to children and adults with special needs and trauma, sustained significant damage this weekend after two severe storms tore through the area.
High winds and heavy rain caused roof damage, uprooted large trees, and scattered debris across the 40-acre facility. Fortunately, all of the animals are safe, and no injuries have been reported — a tremendous relief to the Inspiration Ranch team and supporters.
However, the damage comes at a critical time. The Ranch is just days away from launching its Summer Session on June 2, which serves dozens of clients and their families through its Therapeutic Riding and Mental Health programs. Without immediate support and cleanup, the ability to safely open for sessions may be compromised.
“We’re thankful that our animals are unharmed, but the storm left us with significant property damage that must be addressed quickly,” said MG Tindall, President and CEO of Inspiration Ranch. “With our summer session starting next week, we urgently need the community’s help to clear debris, repair structures, and restore the Ranch so we can continue serving our clients without interruption.”
How You Can Help
Inspiration Ranch is seeking donations to help fund immediate cleanup and repairs. Community support will go directly toward tree removal, debris clearing, roof repairs, and making the property safe and functional again — all in time to welcome clients back for summer programming.
