Market Street To Host Grand Chanukah Celebration And Menorah Lighting Sunday, December 5

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Market Street will host Chabad of The Woodlands for a Grand Chanukah Celebration and Menorah Lighting on Sunday, December 5 from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.

Back again this year by popular demand is special guest Rogers Park, the country’s only Hasidic folk-rock band. The entertaining and award-winning band from Chicago features a blend of folk and rock with a mix of original songs and parodies.

The performance by Rogers Park begins at 4:00 pm, followed by the lighting of a nine-foot, eight-branched menorah at 4:20 pm by Rabbi Mendel Blecher. Additional musical entertainment from Rogers Park will round out the evening’s festivities.

Now in its eleventh year, Market Street’s Grand Chanukah Celebration is a beloved community tradition held in Central Park. There is no admission fee required to attend. Chanukah Goodie Bags will be available at the event by pre-ordering at JewishWoodlands.com
