THE WOODLANDS, TX – Recently, award-winning fashion designer and Texas resident Kendra Scott visited her namesake boutique at Market Street in The Woodlands.

Kendra, who was named Ernst & Young’s National Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017, shared her holiday shopping picks, favorite styles from our latest holiday collection, and mingled with customers while taking photos and selfies. In the latest example of her deep philanthropic beliefs and actions, 20 percent of the proceeds from the event were earmarked to be donated to the Klein ISD Education Foundation.

Earlier in the day, Kendra received a warm welcome from nearby Klein High School (her alma mater), including the school marching band, drumline, and cheerleaders, in addition to a beautiful welcome banner. Students heard from Kendra about her entrepreneurial journey, her time on Shark Tank, and of course, her high school experience. Then, students had the opportunity to ask Kendra questions during a question-and-answer session.

Known for always being a brand to surprise and delight, Kendra Scott provided jewelry for Klein High School students, teachers and faculty. She is also offering a ‘Kendra Gives Back’ special – one of the approximately 10,000 that she has overseen – that benefits the Kailee Mills Foundation.
