Luxury Hospitality Group Announces Lease at The Woodlands Waterway for First Project

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Kahani Social Group, a newly-established hospitality group dedicated to going beyond standard service by providing unique, dining and social experiences, today announces it has leased spaceto create a new restaurant conceptat 3 Waterway Square Place, Suite 100, adjacent toThe Woodlands Waterway®. Founded in 2021 and led by two brothers, Preet Paul Singh and Surpreet Singh, Kahani Social Group aims to challenge the norms of traditional hospitality, an industry with which the brothers are intimately familiar through their experience with the group’s parent company, Thind Management.

“The Woodlands Waterway is an iconic location, and we’re proud to launch an exciting concept that will bring something totally new to the area,” said Preet Paul Singh, Co-Founder of Kahani Social Group. “It really felt like the space chose us.”

With their background, the duo gained a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry, which includes conventional hotels and restaurants, and aims to apply their expertise through the new group while shaking up what is expected. Their focus on customer service and understanding of consumer preferences inspired them to create a more boutique group focused on creating niche experiences. Surpreet envisioned a restaurant of this caliber over six years ago, and by partnering with an award-winning chef, to be announced at a later date, his vision will finally become a reality. The word “kahani” translates to “story,” which is the driving force behind the brand. The founders plan to launch multiple concepts that will bring unique stories to life through detailed and intentional narratives, providing guests with an experience unlike any other. The group already has several projects in the works, which include high-end fine dining, bars and cocktail lounges, fast food concepts and mid-priced eateries, enabling them to appeal a spectrum of foodies across the country. The brand’s first concept at The Woodlands Waterway promises to be one of the region’s most anticipated new restaurant experiences and dining destinations. In addition to unparalleled service, flavorful cuisine and extravagant cocktails, the concept will focus on creating a distinctive and luxe social environment.

Influenced by the brothers’ Sikh faith and commitment to seva, the brand will also be dedicated to giving back. Kahani Social Group’s philanthropic efforts will undoubtedly be offered through volunteerism and donations; however, the spirit of giving back began at the brand’s inception. The brothers carefully selected The Woodlands specifically for their first location as a way to make their mark and pay homage to the community they call home.

“We’re confident that our first project is something unlike anyone has seen before. Growing up in the area, we knew we wanted to give back to the community by bringing something that our neighbors can enjoy and that could bring a national spotlight to an area that deserves it,” said Surpreet. “With The Waterway acting as a sort of epicenter for entertainment, restaurants, shopping and tourism, it felt like the natural place to augment what has already made it so special.”
