THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Esperanto Developments, a leading hospitality management company, announces the opening of Hotel Indigo, an upscale boutique hotel brand focused on creating uniquely local experiences, on November 17th. The hotel captures the history and spirit of Spring and The Woodlands through its new location. Artfully combining the convenience and consistency of a branded hotel with the design cache and service personality of a boutique property, Hotel Indigo’s philosophy truly offers guests the best of both worlds. The chic, yet welcoming space graciously honors the spirit of the surrounding community and delivers a beautiful perspective of the local neighborhood, drawing inspiration from its sights, sounds and flavor, a concept evident in the success of Esperanto Developments’ Hotel Indigo property in El Paso.

“We are excited to offer a locally-inspired experience unlike anything that has been done before in the Spring-Woodlands area. Every detail, from our amenities to our service, has been carefully curated,” said General Manager, Brandon Kitchen. “With our unique design and thoughtful touches taking cues from the local history, architecture, colors and culinary scene, we are able to provide guests a window to the neighborhood through our hotel before exploring it for themselves.”

The 103-room hotel offers four generously-sized suites, which each feature a living area and wet bar as well as a separate bedroom and en suite bathroom. Each room displays distinctive artwork unique to the individual room, offering something new to experience with every return. In addition to the contemporary and vibrant design in the guest rooms, Hotel Indigo will also be known for its lakeside pool, which will feature its own bar, as well as its signature restaurant and bar, Crudo, which will serve as the area’s next see-and-be-seen hotspot. For the “Instagram-worthy” moments of each stay, guests will enjoy a number of photo-worthy backdrops around the hotel as well as the picturesque view of the manmade lake, framed beautifully by surrounding scenery, which can be observed either from their chaise lounge poolside or from one of the many guest rooms with a view.

The property strives to ensure that every person that walks through its doors, whether it be a guest, employee, family member or friend, feels welcome and has a unique experience that reflects the local community. Hotel Indigo’s distinctive sense of style reflects the Spanish Mission design–a manifestation of the influence of Catholic Dominicans, Jesuits and Franciscans missionaries who came to the area to preach and consequently introduced their own architectural flare. The earth tones and natural textures found throughout the property, along with the shimmering gold bar façade are a subtle homage to black gold, which was influential in the development and growth of the area. Just as no two neighborhoods are alike, no two Hotel Indigo properties are alike. Each one is designed to reflect the local culture, character and history of the surrounding area. The Spring-Woodlands area location boutique hotel showcases its appreciation of the community through its provisions and artwork, including offerings like locally-produced Katz coffee, 8th Wonder Brewery's nostalgia brews and Breggy Bomb Salsa, founded by Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros. Meanwhile, the hotel’s onsite restaurant, Crudo, offers a seasonal menu with craft cocktails as mainstays and plans to spotlight local musicians and vendors as entertainment.

“From our top-tier amenities to our unparalleled service, every detail was carefully curated and thought out specifically for this property,” said Kitchen. “We’re honored to capture the history of this community while also spotlighting its present and being part of its future.”
