THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Snow — lots of snow — is forecast for the Flurry of Fun, slated for 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at The Church at Woodforest, 700 Fish Creek Thoroughfare.

Eventgoers can play in mountains of snow and visit Santa’s workshop to pick up a holiday craft. A giant photo op snowglobe will be available, and visitors will be given holiday items as keepsakes. Santa will also stop by and kids will enjoy a trackless train. Refreshments include cookies and hot cocoa while supplies last.

“We tend to do the holidays big in Woodforest, so in addition to the many resident-only activities we have planned, we are coordinating with The Church at Woodforest, North County Young Life and other local churches to offer a fun event that everyone can attend,” said Faith Pitman, Woodforest Marketing Director. “We get so little snow here in Houston — this should be a real treat.”

The Flurry of Fun in Woodforest is free and open to the public.

A dozen builders offer a range of new homes in Woodforest, with pricing from the $260,000s to more than $1 million. There is also an active adult neighborhood for those ages 55 and older — Bonterra at Woodforest. For more information about Woodforest, visit www.woodforesttx.com.
