THE WOODLADNS, TX -- From the beginning of the season, Freshman Ian Inman has been part of the The Woodlands Highlander JV team. He stuck out, in a good way, by showcasing next level awareness, skill and accuracy while under pressure. Shey Eberwein would have another fresh shooter along side him for this aggressive Conroe team and in the future.

The Woodlands hosted the Conroe Crew in their third and final meetup of the District Season. Shey Eberwein popped off a massive 13 points in the first quarter giving The Woodlands an early lead. But Conroe fired back with some pullup jumpers in the paint to make the score go back and forward. And after an aggressive and physical first half The Woodlands found themselves with a 4-point lead.

Conroe came out fresh in the 3rd quarter, as they charged the court and started making plays against a dominate Highlander defense. Leading the attack was Kamari Weatherspoon (#33) dropping a huge 10-points and disrupting The Woodlands game plan on defense. Conroe managed to outscore The Woodlands in the 3rd giving them the lead going into the fourth.

Fresh off the JV team, Ian Inman was part of this Highlander offense helping them make plays and drop buckets. Conroe made The Woodlands earn their points by being aggressive and physical. Although Conroe made it a close game, The Woodlands was able to cut though the defense and score enough to give them the win. At the final buzzer The Woodlands managed to stay on top and end the game 59 to 54.

Boys Basketball Area Scores
