THE WOODLANDS, TX – Virtual fun has never been so physical. Electric Gamebox has grown in popularity and patronage since its opening in January. A curious combination of virtual reality games that require physical exertion to complete, Electric Gamebox has enjoyed expanding its library and entertaining gamers of all sorts from its location in the courtyard outside of The Woodlands Mall.

Later this month, players get to do a life-sized virtual bird launch

Coming later this month, the gaming center will unveil its latest game: a life-sized Angry Birds experience. The company has partnered with video game developer Rovio Entertainment, the makers of Angry Birds, to launch this fun-filled experience with multiplayer slingshot enabled for the first time.

The never-before-seen format – available at locations across the US and UK on June 29 – will allow friends and families to create pivotal memories propelled by the exciting environment of the hyper-immersive digital experience infused with notes of blissful nostalgia.

One of the advantages of playing at Electric Gamebox is the price, which ranges from $5 (for 15 minutes for a child during off-peak times) to a maximum of $35 (for a full hour for an adult during peak times). Additionally, the affordability and ease of use (with sessions lasting 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or one hour), combined with the selection of games that are created in-house to fulfill the needs of all ages and health levels, make Electric Gamebox a gaming destination.

Electric Gamebox is located at The Woodlands Mall, outside in the ground-level courtyard, 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive, and is open seven days a week. Sessions can be made on a walk-in basis or by pre-booking online by clicking here.
