THE WOODLANDS, TX – It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally facing a full week of temperatures not breaking the 80s for their highs. Once we get through today and it’s high of 94 (we’re already on the downside of it), we won’t see any high temperatures of over 90 for at least a week.

Your air conditioners will weep for joy

As the cold front moves in later today, the remaining clouds will dissipate and the sun will shine unabated. Believe it or not, our low tonight (very late tonight, admittedly) will be 60 under clear, starry skies.

Tuesday will dawn bright with nary a cloud in the sky – something you can look forward to the entire work week. Definitely wear your floppy hats and slather on the sunscreen, because the cooler temps will give the false impression that you won’t need protection from the rays. Our high will stay just below that 90 mark, settling around 89. In the evening, the temps will plummet all the way down to 58, the first time we’ve enjoyed something that cool in way too long.

Wednesday will be more of the same; zero clouds, zero percent chance of precipitation, moderate winds (a little less than the day before), and a high only in the upper 80s and another low of 58.

Thursday will be the briskest part of the cold front, with a sunny high of only 84 and a low in the mid 50s. Friday will only be a degree warmer on both ends, capping off a perfect week for getting out and about and giving our AC units a break for a bit.

Alas, as the weekend descends, the cold front will move along its merry way and we’ll start to see some clouds and temps back into the 90s. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Stay tuned on Friday as we bring you Woodlands Weekend Weather.
