The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Hosted A Candidate Debate & Forum on Wednesday, October 12, 2022

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Candidate Debate and Forum in partnership with Woodlands Online for five races in the upcoming November 8th, election. The forums were moderated by Sean Thompson of Woodlands Online.

The forum was held at Sam Houston State University – The Woodlands Center from 4PM – 7PM. The program was aired live on The Chamber and Woodlands Online’s Facebook pages, as well as on Woodlands Online’s website. The event was open to the public and was high in attendance. “Candidate forums allow The Chamber to serve as a resource by providing local business owners, their teams and residents, an opportunity to learn more about each candidate as well as a chance to hear their views on local, regional and national issues that affect our community” said JJ Hollie, President & CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce.

Attendees were able to hear from:

• The Woodlands Township candidates for positions 1, 2, 3 and 4

• Conroe ISD Board of Trustees candidates for positions 1 and 2

• Tomball ISD Board of Trustees candidates for positions 1, 2 and 3

• Lone Star Ground Water candidates for positions 3 and 7

• Montgomery County Precinct 3 – Justice of The Peace Candidate, April Prim


Early voting begins on Monday October 24, 2022 and Election Day is Tuesday November 8, 2022. Dates, time and polling location can be found on the Advocacy page of The Chamber’s website. The Chamber encourages everyone to ensure that you are aware of your voting location.
