Spirit of Gratitude, Carrabba’s Hosts ‘Grazie Mille’ Food & Wine Pairing (11/8)

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Meaning ‘thank you very much’ in Italian, Carrabba’s Italian Grill is hosting a Grazie Mille four-course dinner with wine pairings on Tuesday, November 8 starting at 6:30 p.m. for $55 per person. From their loyal guests to family recipes passed down from generation to generation, Carrabba's has a lot to be thankful for, including the wine they source from family-owned vineyards.
Here’s a preview of the November Grazie Mille Wine Dinner menu:
First Course: Spinach and Gorgonzola Salad with Shrimp, Wood-grilled shrimp served over romaine and spinach, lightly tossed in a gorgonzola dressing, and sprinkled with candied pecans, bacon, and crumbled gorgonzola cheese.
Wine Pairing: Sella & Mosca La Cala Vermentino
Second Course: Penne with Garlic Rosemary Cream, Penne pasta in a creamy Alfredo sauce with romano-parmesan cheese blend, sautéed mushrooms, roasted garlic, fresh rosemary and topped with wood-grilled chicken.
Wine Pairing: Kendall Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay
Third Course: Chicken Involtini, Chicken stuffed with fennel sausage, spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, romano and parmesan cheeses topped with our Lombardo Marsala wine sauce. Served with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes.
Wine Pairing: Allegrini Valpolicella
Fourth Course: Warm Cinnamon Apple Crumble, Warm cinnamon apple compote topped with a sweet crumble and vanilla ice cream, drizzled with salted caramel sauce.
Wine Pairing: Elouan Pinot Noir
