THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Today at about 10:30 a.m., Shenandoah Police Department units were dispatched to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands in reference to a burglary of a vehicle that had just occurred. The suspects were confronted by witnesses in the act of stealing property and fled the area.

SHPD, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office & the Oak Ridge North Police Department converged on the area and located the suspect vehicle. It failed to stop and led units on a pursuit to the I-69/Crosstimbers area where the driver crashed into a road sign and curb, disabling the vehicle. All three suspects fled on foot but were located and apprehended. Two cut catalytic converters and other stolen property were located in the vehicle. One suspect was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and will have charges filed for Evading in a Vehicle and Burglary of a Vehicle. The other two suspects were booked into the Montgomery County Jail for Burglary of a Vehicle and Evading on Foot. All of them were from Houston.

We are grateful for the assistance of the above agencies along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Houston Police Department, Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4, & Harris County Sheriff's Office. This was excellent teamwork by all involved, and we are grateful for their partnership!
