Join Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 Ryan Gable and Truluck’s as they sponsor the Children's Safe Harbor fundraiser breakfast this morning from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. The money raised will go towards supporting Children's Safe Harbor and their child advocacy program. Purchase your tickets. Children’s Safe Harbor is a children’s advocacy center that cares for children who have suffered sexual assault, severe physical abuse, sex trafficking, neglect, and trauma and strives to achieve justice and healing for every abused child.

Thursday, December 8
If you’re a parent helping Santa Claus get presents together for the kiddos, you know how difficult it is to break away without prying eyes. Thankfully, Maximum Athletics has come to the rescue! Bring the little ones to their Woodlands location to spend the morning with them for their Preschool Parent's Day Out from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. This is a special open house for children ages 3 - 5 years old for only $15 in advance registration or $18 on the day of registration.

Feed your stomach and your soul at the same time at the John Cooper School’s 18th Annual Signatures Author Series luncheon event at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. This year, this venerable event features New York Times bestselling author Elin Hildebrand, whose recent novel The Hotel Nantucket was released June 14 and instantly debuted as the number one bestseller. Other novels by Hilderbrand include bestsellers The Golden Girl, The Identicals, The Perfect Couple along with many more. The Signatures Author Series luncheon is a highly anticipated annual event held each year. The luncheon also features local authors, book signings, and a Signatures-themed drawing.

With weather that’s been too warm this week, you need something definitely winter-themed to be inspired into the holiday spirit again. Thanks to the Howard Hughes Corporation, it’ll happen today. They’ll be presenting the Winter Wonderland at Creekside Park Village Green from 1 - 5 p.m. Enjoy a fun, free, family-friendly event that includes Santa Claus, a petting zoo, carnival games, pony carousel, holiday music, face painting, balloon artists, and inflatables.

We here at Woodlands Online encourage everyone to shop local whenever possible, and Big Top Entertainment has put together the perfect event to showcase local businesses. Head out to Town Green Park from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for its Christmas Gift Market. More than 200 vendors will be selling their holiday wares at this outdoor market that is free to attend.
