THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The following events are planned for adults, children, young adults, and their families in December 2022, at South Regional Library, 2101 Lake Robbins Dr.

Monthly or Bi-Monthly Events at the Library

December 6th, at 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Holiday Craft: Magazine Christmas Tree
Adult program – 18+ Registration required (phone)
Season's greetings! Please join us as we watch The Christmas Story and make a Christmas tree using magazines. We will also be serving holiday refreshments to celebrate the season. Supplies are limited and registration is required. Please call 936-522-2697 to inquire about registering for this event.

December 7th, at 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Gardening with Bob - A Bountiful and Healthy Spring Garden
Adult program – 18+ Registration required (online)
Start preparing now for that GREAT garden. Learn how to achieve success in preparing and planting the right plants to have a bountiful garden in time for Spring.

December 20th
ELF Interactive Movie!
Family Program – 2:00pm
Teen Program – 5:30pm
No Registration required – first come, first served
Make watching this Christmas favorite more fun with simple props and actions to go along with the film! The first 60 audience members will receive a bag of props and instructions to interact with the movie.


Library Holiday Closings
Christmas Early Closing – December 22nd all MCMLS branches close at 5pm
Christmas Holiday – December 23rd – 26th all MCMLS branches closed
