TOMBALL, TX -- Tomball Community Library has released their schedule of events for January 2023.

Children’s Programs:

Toddler Time
Tuesdays, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 @ 10:30 am
Join other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age-appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years. Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Participating children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time. For more information, call the library at 832-559-4235.

Join other babies and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Tiny Tots uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and playtime to engage babies and their parents/caregivers. Board of Library Young Adults (BAYA) Meeting
January 7th @ 3pm
Want to help your library? Plan events? Have a great experience to put on your resume, and have tons of fun? Stickers, Stickers, Stickers, Stickers! If you love stickers, then Sticker Club is for you! Get new mystery stickers at each meeting, trade stickers, and make your own stickers! Anime & K-Pop Club
January 13th @ 10:30am–12pm
Do you love K-Pop, Anime, Manga, and all things Japanese? Come join our Young Adult Anime & K-Pop Club in the Tomball Library Teen Room on the 2nd Friday of every month. We explore a new topic every month including Japanese and Korean culture, how to cosplay, how to draw anime, and anime-related crafts! Email victoria.allums@hcpl.net with any questions.

Teen Movie Night

D&D Club
January 27th @ 3pm-5:45pm

Soldiers Supplies Donations
All month long, 1st floor donation box
We will be collecting donations all month long to be sent to Boots for Troops, a local non-profit that mails care packages to troops deployed across the globe. Donations can be dropped off at the library’s 1st floor elevators in the donation box. Tech Help Hour
Every Monday @ 10am
Have questions about using technology? Need personal help navigating your device? Use our Tech Help Hour to find answers. Our technology expert, Loyd, will spend time with you working on what you want during these one-hour sessions. Registration required.

Digitization Station Help Hour
Every Monday @ 1pm
Have questions about using our digital media transfer equipment? Need personal help to make sure you get started on your project correctly? Use our Digitization Station Help Hour for expert advice and troubleshooting. Our preservation specialist, Kyla, will spend time with you working on your media transfers during these one-hour sessions. Contact kyla.bayang@hcpl.net for more information and to sign up.

Each month we will learn about the cultures and practices of countries across the globe while enjoying regional tea! This month we will celebrate Chinese culture!

Scribe Tribe Write-in
