Big Rivers discusses plans with coaster enthusiasts

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Monty Galland, CEO of Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures, was given the opportunity to discuss Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures at American Coaster Enthusiasts Winterfest 2023 last weekend. Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures is located in New Caney, Texas, about eight miles north of Houston and twelve miles east of The Woodlands.

The event was held at Circuit of the Americas, a Formula 1 racing facility in Austin, Texas that also has some amusement park elements. American Coaster Enthusiasts is one of the oldest and largest amusement park fan organizations.

Mr. Galland was given the opportunity to discuss current attractions and experiences at Big Rivers as well as some upcoming improvements. “I was a little intimidated at first. I spoke between Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, two enormous parks with lots of roller coasters. But Big Rivers has a wide variety of attractions and experiences for the whole family. I talked about waterpark activities, our newly added amusement park rides, ziplines and more.”

Mr. Galland also got to interact directly with attendees, especially those that visited the park last season. “ACE members are more familiar with various destinations than most casual guests. It was really heartening to receive compliments on the friendliness of our staff, our unique activities, especially getting in the water with alligators, and our newest offering the Fairgrounds, a collection of amusement park rides for all ages.
