Two Woodlands Township political races were canceled and rescheduled for a March 25 special election

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Township issued a statement regarding the cancellation of the February 18, 2023, elections for Cochran’s Crossing Residential Design Review Committee and Creekside Park Residential Design Review Committee.

The February 18, 2023, Elections for the following Residential Design Review Committees have
been canceled:

• Cochran’s Crossing Residential Design Review Committee
• Creekside Park Residential Design Review Committee

The cancellations are the result of an error being found in the ballot for each of these contests after convenience voting commenced on Monday, February 13, 2023. A Special Election will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, to conduct voting for these two contested races only.

• Convenience voting will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, through Friday, March 24, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Election Day voting will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 8:00 am to 6:00 p.m.

• The polling location for all voting for the Special Election will be held at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd, The Woodlands, Texas, 77381.

Publications and press releases for the Special Election will be made. Public outreach to notify residents and property owners in the Village of Cochran’s Crossing and the Village of Creekside Park will also be conducted.

All other contested races for The Woodlands Township Residential Design Review Committees and Village Associations concluded on the original schedule.
