THE WOODLANDS, TX – The good news is, by the time you read this, we’ll already be on the downside of our Friday high of 81. The humidity, too, is dropping down from 100 percent to a slightly more comfortable 66 percent. Even the recent spike in winds are settling, making for a moderate Friday afternoon, evening, and night. Celebrate the impending weekend with some laughter by hitting the Red Brick Tavern in Conroe for a standup comedy set with Scott White and Adrian Lucio.

Many clouds and rising mercury will make for one sticky weekend

Overnight and early Saturday morning, we have a quarter chance of rain under cloudy skies as we go from our low of 60 to a high that will be twenty degrees greater. A slight but steady drop in both humidity and pressure will presage a slightly better Sunday, but for today you might want to keep indoor plans in mind. Moms, Chick-fil-A on Sawdust is holding a special Mother/Son Secret Agent Spy Night you might want to check out.

Just like the night before, there will be a one-in-four chance of rain visiting, but by the time the world rumbles to life Sunday morning, the precipitation should be pretty much gone. It’ll be another warm one, with the night-before low of 64 sliding up through the degrees until the high settles around 82. The significant cloud coverage won’t help cool things down any, but an increase in winds will make the mugginess more bearable. Maybe the allure of some waterside breeze could tempt you to the season’s first Concert in the Park at Northshore Park…?

We’ll hit another overnight low in the mid 60s, but be prepared for Monday morning to be nowhere near as warm as the weekend, with maybe some outright cold temps and stormy skies on the horizon…

Stay tuned for weather updates from Woodlands Online, and be sure to check us out on Monday for our “Week Ahead” forecast.
