Shenandoah PD Police Blotter – March 12 - 18, 2023

SHENANDOAH, TX - The following is a list of significant activity and calls for service for March 12 - 18, 2023. This does not reflect all calls for service during this period.

Arrests

• THEFT – 19000 block IH-45 – Suspect stole from a local business and was arrested for Felony Theft.
• DWI – 1000 block Research Forest Dr – Suspect stopped for running a red light and was found to be intoxicated. Arrested for DWI 1st.
• POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – 19100 block IH-45 – Two suspects were arrested for PCS.
• OUT OF STATE WARRANT – 8800 Tamina Road – Traffic stop conducted and driver had a felony warrant out of New York.
• POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – 19400 block IH 45 – Vehicle stopped for traffic. Two subjects arrested for PCS.
• WARRANT – 19000 block IH 45 – Suspect was stopped for traffic and had a felony warrant.

Property Offenses (without arrests)
• THEFT – 9200 block Pinecroft Dr – Unknown suspect stole a catalytic converter off victim’s vehicle.
• THEFT – 19400 block IH 45 - Unknown suspect stole a cellular phone while victim was in a local business.
• BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE– 18400 block IH 45 – Unknown suspect broke into a vehicle and stole a purse.
• THEFT – 19000 block IH 45 – Four suspects stole merchandise from a local business and fled before officers could arrest or identify them.
• THEFT – 19400 block IH 45 - Unknown Suspect stole a catalytic converter off victim’s vehicle.

Persons Crimes (without arrests)
• CREDIT CARD ABUSE / FRAUD – 9250 Pinecroft Dr– Unknown suspect stole credit card and used it twice.
• FAIL TO STOP AND RENDER AID – 19300 block IH 45 – Subject was rear-ended by an unknown vehicle on the freeway. Other vehicle left the scene without providing any information.

Other (without arrests)
• ASSIST MONTGOMERY COUNTY – Montgomery County S.O. had a robbery in progress call just outside the city limits on Highway 242. Suspect ran from the Shenandoah officer and was captured without incident.
