THE WOODLANDS, TX -- This Mother’s Day, all Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar locations are offering delicious specials just for Mom. These exquisite dishes are perfect to celebrate this warm-hearted holiday. Mom is sure to love the special Burrata & Artichoke appetizer made of spring roasted vegetables, mandarin oranges, fennel pollen, maldon salt, aged balsamic and served with grilled sourdough. This tasty appetizer pairs perfectly with Tommy Bahama’s new Lobster Frittata made of butter poached lobster, triple cream, heirloom baby tomatoes, spinach, grilled artichokes, and basil and served with grilled sourdough. These two flavorful dishes make for the perfect cohesive Mother’s Day meal.

Top off your Mother’s Day meal and kick off Spring with two new refreshing cocktails from Tommy Bahama. The Zest and Island Empress will be available at all Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar and Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar locations. Whether you’re celebrating mom, a special someone, a new promotion or the warm weather these delicious cocktails are just right for the occasion.

The Zest features Reyka Vodka, Giffard Apricot Liqueur, lemon curd and honey. What makes The Zest unique? Rob Aspaas, Director of Cocktail, Tommy Bahama says, “Utilizing fruit curd is a great way to incorporate the elements of a traditional fizz; with the egg and cream in the curd giving a very soft, round feel to a bright and balanced cocktail.” These flavors combine to create a tangy sweet taste, perfect for any celebration.

The Island Empress is made of Empress Gin, Giffard Lichi-Li Liquer, lychee Syrup and lemon. The diverse ingredients in this enticing drink join to craft a fruity, floral and citrus inspired taste. Rob Aspaas says, “I love this as a celebratory cocktail for so many reasons; it has vibrant color, unique ingredients, yet is still a simple cocktail to create. The use of lychee and fresh citrus really highlights the botanicals found in Empress Gin; rose petal, butterfly pea blossoms, and empress blend tea. It’s a truly elegant drink to match a special occasion.”

Mother’s Day Cocktail Recipes:

The Zest:

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz. Reyka Vodka

• 0.5 oz. Rothan & Winter Apricot Liqueur

• 1.5 tbsp. Lemon Curd

• 0.5 oz. Honey Syrup 2 to 1

• 0.5 oz. Lemon Juice

Instructions:
In a mixing glass, add all ingredients and then add ice.
Shake 20 times, and strain into a double rocks glass filled with ice.
Express lemon peel over drink and drop into glass.

Island Empress:

Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Empress Gin

• 0.5 oz. Giffard Lychee

• 0.5 oz. REAL Lychee

• 0.75 oz. Lemon Juice

Instructions:
In a mixing glass, add all ingredients and then add ice.
Shake 20 times, and strains into coupe glass.
Express lemon peel over drink and drop into glass.
