Sing the year away at The Woodlands Resort’s Songwriters Festival all next week
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Starting on Monday and ending on the evening of New Year’s Day, The Woodlands Resort is dedicating itself to ending 2025 on a high note with its four-day Songwriters Festival.
Featuring two dozen acclaimed songwriters alongside headlining performances by Darryl Worley, The Frontmen, and Neal McCoy, the festival invites guests to experience the craft behind the hits from the award-winning artists and hear the stories behind beloved songs, enjoy up-close performances from renowned songwriters, and indulge in extraordinary culinary journey of food and wine at every turn.
This immersive event combines intimate musical performances with exceptional food and wine offerings, creating a one-of-a-kind destination experience for an upscale, engaged audience.
The fun commences on Monday, December 29, with a warm VIP welcome reception featuring Chef Damond Stanciell’s seasonal small bites and crafted cocktails, followed by an intimate performance from Darryl Worley.
On Tuesday, enjoy an afternoon of songwriting sessions and live showcases led by The Frontmen and an acclaimed lineup of artists. Between performances, you will be able to indulge in chef-curated lunches featuring smoked brisket, blackened redfish, pho noodle bowls, and tacos al pastor. VIP attendees can savor bourbon and tequila pairings with black garlic lamb chops, hamachi aguachile, and wild mushroom risotto, alongside exclusive access to a private cocktail reception with the artists.
New Year’s Eve will be unforgettable for you as Neal McCoy takes the stage and the festival culminates in the Boots & Bubbles New Year’s Eve Celebration. Guests will enjoy gourmet dining stations – carved prime rib, made-to-order poke, and sweet crêpes – with handcrafted cocktails, champagne, and a spectacular midnight countdown. Limited-availability meet-and-greet passes offer an extraordinary opportunity to connect personally with select performers and receive a signed festival poster.
The festival will finally wind down on Thursday with a soulful New Year’s Day Jazz Brunch featuring a 14-piece live band and an opulent spread of seafood towers, chef-attended omelet and pasta stations, and indulgent desserts like bourbon bread pudding and chocolate croissants. This is an elegant finale to a weekend of artistry and connection.
