Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Investigating the Death of Two People in Spring, TX

SPRING, TX -- On April 6, 2023, at about 4:15 PM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a welfare check at the 25000 Block of Oakhurst Drive, Spring, Texas. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered two people deceased inside the home.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide/Violent Crimes Unit, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office responded to the scene and are investigating.

The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Maria Olvera and 55-year-old Paul Bailiff.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated; therefore, no further details are available at this time.

This appears to be an isolated event and there is no threat to the public. Law enforcement is not searching for a suspect.
