Thursday, April 20
The gals at Right Next Door Designs
know that everyone loves Bingo Nights, so they decided to add another fun and competitive night at their shop tonight starting at 5:00 p.m.! Melanie, their Boss of Awesome, will have two options available for Game Night – LCR and Push. Once everyone is together, they’ll decide the game for that night. (Chances are, they’ll play both.) No worries if you’ve never played before. Melanie is more than happy to teach all of you! Bring that fun, competitive spirit with you and prepare to have fun!

Thursday - Sunday, April 20 - 23
For the first time, The Chevron Championship
, one of five major Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tournaments, will take place in The Woodlands. The Chevron Championship features world-class athletes and celebrates women’s excellence on and off the golf course. Held at The Club at Carlton Woods, the event features some of the world’s most talented women athletes competing in the Tour’s first Major of the season.

The John Cooper School invites all family and friends
of the community to join them for their annual Empty Bowls event, a light lunch of soup and bread as well as family-friendly crafts and activities, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sims Student Center of The John Cooper School campus. Handmade bowls and art will be available for purchase along with a silent auction offering a variety of items. Proceeds will benefit The Woodlands Interfaith Food Pantry. Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money and awareness for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities.

Saturday, April 22
For the hardcore adventurers (and the spectators who cheer them on)
, it’s time for the annual Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas triathlon. Athletes will take on a 2.4-mile, point-to-point swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride on closed toll roads, and experience one of the most spirited 26.2-mile runs in North America. The swim begins at North Shore Park and ends in the canal at Town Green Park. For the bike ride, athletes will start their 112-mile journey by navigating part of The Woodlands, then enter into Northern Harris County. Once in Harris County, athletes will navigate two loops on the Hardy Toll Road. The concluding marathon run course takes place entirely within The Woodlands and concludes with a spectacular finish on Waterway Ave. If you’re not a participant or spectator, stay tuned to Woodlands Online for traffic updates… you’ll need them!
