WACO, TX -- The Woodlands and Rockwall have been battling it out all weekend at Baylor Ballpark in the Regional Semifinals. Rockwall took game 1 but The Woodlands rallied back to take game 2 and force a game 3 tiebreaker.

The ball game was a defensive and pitching battle as the first four innings went scoreless. Keller Lindeman was on the mound for Rockwall and only allowed a couple of hits in the first four innings. Caleb Holifield was on the mound for The Woodlands and had the same situation as Rockwall only allowing a couple of hits.

It wasn’t until the fifth inning where The Woodlands heated up. Jake Escovedo would hit one deep in the outfield to bring in one run giving The Woodlands a 1-0 lead. With a play at the plate, The Woodlands would have made it a quick 2-0 but Rockwall would be able to rocket one from the outfield to get the out.

The sixth inning was the same as the first four as it was a quick three up and three down for both sides.

The Woodlands would load the bases in the seventh and the next batter would be walked which gave The Woodlands a 2-0 lead.

Rockwall would bring in a relief pitcher but the very first batter would get hit by the pitch and force another run to cross the plate.

The Woodlands would make quick work of the Rockwall offense and take the win 3-0 and the series to move on to the Regional Finals.
