THE WOODLANDS, TX – Quote of the week: “A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawnmower is broken.” — James Dent

We officially hit summer this week – although the temperatures got a head start on the season – and the only thing that’s sizzling more than bacon on a sidewalk in The Woodlands is our roster of amazing events. Here’s a list of our top 5 for you to consider.

ALL WEEK – June 19 - 25
In celebration of National Pollinator Week, The Woodlands Township is hosting “BioBlitz,”
a week-long community effort to identify as many local species as possible. This effort is a fun, informal opportunity for the public to learn together and share their enthusiasm for nature. To participate in the event, download the iNaturalist app onto your phone or tablet then join the iNaturalist project by searching “The Woodlands Township BioBlitz 2023” under projects in the search bar. Then get outside and explore! Take photos and upload them to the project. Then join in for the in-person BioBlitz BioBooth, Saturday June 24, from 8 to 11 a.m. at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive. Free all ages events.
