THE WOODLANDS, TX – Project Beacon, a Montgomery County-based nonprofit organization that exists to help solve for the critical shortage of quality residential options, vocational opportunities, and social experiences for adults with Autism, Neurodiversity, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), has announced that individual and table tickets, as well as sponsorships, are available for its upcoming gala, ‘An Evening in Old New York.’ The organization’s second annual gala will take place on Thursday, September 7 at The Peach Orchard, 1737 Sawdust Road.

At the event, the Rockefeller Cocktail Reception and Registration will open at 6:00 p.m. where attendees can enjoy the sounds of Tianna Hall and The Houston Jazz Band as they take in the Live and Silent Auction previews. The New York, New York Dinner will follow.

“We don’t want you to miss this, and can’t wait to welcome you to our second annual gala on September 7, 2023. Limited tables and sponsorships still available. Get yours now,” said Rob Wollard, Event Chair & Board Member of Project Beacon.

Project Beacon’s mission is to develop an intentional residential community with meaningful employment, recreational, and social opportunities for neurodiverse individuals in a safe, caring, and flexible environment, allowing each resident to realize their full potential.
