Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission to hold Patriot Day commemoration

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission is holding a special Patriot Day ceremony on Monday, September 11 at the Veterans Memorial Park at 1776 Freedom Blvd. in Conroe.

The ceremony will commence at 8:30 a.m. at the entrance of the park and will honor the lives lost during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, with speeches and presentations to draw attention to the First Responders who selflessly gave their lives to rescue others.

On display will also be the 9-11 Monument that features a timeline of events from that harrowing day. There will also be on display the park’s First Responders Monument.

The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the experiences and sacrifices of United Statesveterans, active-duty military, and First Responders from across the nation.
