Local Dance Team Wins Grand Champions!

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- In-Step Dance Center wrapped up its 2023 competition season on the highest of notes when, at their national competition in Galveston, their hip-hop dance team, BeatMasterz, was awarded the title of Grand Champions!

It was an especially sweet victory as the team consisted of several dancers who were not only new members to the team, but also new to competitive dance. Under the guidance of their Director and Choreographer, Jaredd Martin, the team performed incredibly well and impressed the judges at all of their local competitions, piling up arm-fulls of awards and accolades, so it wasn't a huge surprise when they took 1st place at Nationals in both category and division. What makes this ending to the season so memorable is not only being invited to re-compete in the Battle of Champions but winning 1st place there as well and awarded the title of Grand Champions.

Mr. Jaredd stated that 'this team was committed and came together for a common goal and succeeded. I am incredibly proud of them'.

It was an immensely joyful moment for these young dancers, their parents, teachers and everyone in their In-Step Dance family and one I'm sure they won't soon forget.
