Constable Gable's CIU arrest driver that was tampering with evidence and resisting arrest in Spring

SPRING, TX -- Around 5:45PM on September 14th, 2023 Constable Ryan Gable's Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) Deputy received a notice that the white Nissan sedan; he was driving behind, was stolen. While traveling behind the vehicle south bound in the 26300 block of Interstate 45, Spring, the driver started throwing items out of the window.
The deputy activated his emergency lights to stop the vehicle but it continued down the roadway, stopping in the 100 block of Nursery Drive, Spring. While making contact with the driver, he was observed making odd behaviors and detained. In the process of being detained the driver started to resist and pull away, when other deputies arrived on scene to get him under control. After receiving medical treatment, the driver now identified as; 37 year old Noel R. Garza Jr., was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of Marijuana and Tampering with Evidence.
The vehicle was towed away from the scene; and Noel was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office jail where they were released to staff without further incident.
