Woodforest Dance Company Makes Debut With Launch Party

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Woodforest Dance Company made its debut with a launch party on August 19 in Woodforest’s Pine Market. Guests enjoyed tours of the new studio, a DJ dance party, glitter tattoos, and meet and greets.

“Seeing a lifelong dream come to fruition is truly a pinch-me type of moment. I am so grateful for the support of our community and dance families in helping make Woodforest Dance Company a staple in our community,” Kerri Cooksey, Woodforest Dance Company’s owner and executive director, shared.

Ballet, tap, jazz, skills precision, and even an adult hip hop class, Woodforest Dance Company prioritizes technique and building a strong community with their dancers. Woodforest Dance Company also has a partnership with Diamond Sports Academy and offers an Elite Athletic Precision class for boys ages 7-12 led by Coach Lance Miles.
