HS Football: Willis Travels to Take on Grand Oaks Friday Night

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The roll continues for the Willis Wildkats as they hit the road for a date with the Grand Oaks Grizzlies at Woodforest Bank Stadium.

Willis suffered from inconsistency throughout the 22-23 campaign but managed to grab a handful of victories. One of those wins came against the Grizzlies in a 63-3 thrashing.

The lack of consistency has not been apparent for the Wildkats this season. Their high-powered offense has found little trouble dispatching opponents. Conroe had the number one statistical defense in the district before playing Willis but could not stop their offensive onslaught. It now falls on Grand Oaks to try and slow down the Wildkats enough to gain meaningful traction against the district's top team.
