MAGNOLIA, TX -- Bourbon Brothers BBQ, Magnolia’s home for slow-smoked meats and scratch-made sides and desserts, has one request this holiday season: stop ordering bad food for your holiday parties.

Magnolia’s home for Texas barbecue offering scratch-made meals this holiday season.

“Enough with the subpar, dried-out, bland food at your Friendsgivings, Christmas parties, or corporate gatherings,” said Matt Keyser, owner of Bourbon Brothers BBQ and former begrudged corporate employee fed up with dry chicken. “Order a meal that will create a memorable experience that your hard-working, well-deserving employees will appreciate.”

To combat the less-than-tasty options, Bourbon Brothers BBQ is introducing its holiday catering menu, which includes moist brisket, juicy pulled pork, handcrafted sausages, smoked brisket burgers, and tender turkey breast. Sides include creamy mac and cheese, campfire beans, southwestern ‘slaw, and loaded mashed potatoes. Desserts include bourbon pecan chocolate chip cookies, lemon ice box pie, and a bourbon banana cake.

Meats are smoked in house by Keyser and pitmaster Caleb Johnson, and all sides and desserts are made from scratch by Bourbon Brothers BBQ executive chef Lotis Butchko.

“Everything we cook is made from scratch,” Butchko said. “We’re passionate and determined to serve the highest-quality food that wows our customers.”

Bourbon Brothers BBQ can accommodate gatherings as small as 25 people up to 500 or more, with options beginning as low as $14 per person. Catering inquiries must be submitted through the company’s website, bourboncue.com, and all inquiries will receive a detailed quote back within 24 hours.

“We had Bourbon Brothers BBQ cater our kiddos’ birthday party and I will hire them again every time,” said Katherine Nebel, a local real estate agent. “The timing, presentation, set up, and clean up was flawless. Our guests raved about the food.”

In addition to the scratch-made meals, Bourbon Brothers BBQ offers full-service catering that includes servers to freshly slice your meats and dish out your sides.

“Many people eat with their eyes, which leads to a lot of food waste,” Johnson said. “We pay close attention to how much food is going on each plate to prevent that.”

Also with its full-service catering, Bourbon Brothers BBQ provides its vacuum sealer to seal any leftovers at the end of service. After so much food was tossed after his own wedding, Keyser promised to never allow that to happen with Bourbon Brothers BBQ.

Vacuum-sealed meats can last for more than a week in a refrigerator and up to six months or more in a freezer. Bourbon Brothers BBQ provides reheating instructions for both meat and sides on its website.

“The holidays are a time to show thanks and appreciation for those we care about,” Keyser said. “What better way than by bonding over a delicious scratch-made meal.”
