THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly expanding breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, has signed a multi-restaurant development agreement with father-and-son duo Chris and Kyle White. As the Brand prepares to open its first Texas location in Dallas this month (the first of 10), the Whites have agreed to open five Eggs Up Grills in the Houston market, covering northern Houston and Montgomery County. The duo intends to open their first location by mid-2024.

“As we get ready to bring Eggs Up Grill to Texas this fall, it is a natural fit to continue our development in the state with the Whites, who have successfully grown multiple businesses throughout the Houston area,” said Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. “Eggs Up Grill continues to attract multi-unit partners like the Whites most importantly because of the Brand’s consumer appeal and a culture that sets us apart from all others in our category. Additionally, Eggs Up Grill’s compelling business model and our best-in-class franchisor support attract both experienced and first-time franchise partners.”

Chris White is a real estate broker and entrepreneur and has owned businesses spanning from mortgage services to tanning salons and video stores. Currently, he is the president of 360 Target Marketing and Dream Home Seekers. His son Kyle is an attorney and partner at White & Mejias in The Woodlands, Texas, specializing in real estate, wills, trusts and probate, with five offices throughout Texas. He started the firm in 2017 with his wife Megan. The Whites began searching for franchises and chose Eggs Up Grill because it is more family-oriented than other brands.

“When we decided to expand our portfolios into restaurants, and specifically brunch, it had to be a brand of the highest integrity with a track record of support, as well as the same culture and values that match ours,” said Kyle White. “It was honestly a breath of fresh air to see how involved Ricky and his team are in supporting the franchisees, and we just felt very strongly that it was more family-oriented and it was something we can be on the ground floor of building in our community and our state.”

The agreement comes during a record-breaking year for Eggs Up Grill in both new restaurant openings and development commitments. So far, nine restaurants have opened in 2023 with another 12 under construction and more than 20 locations currently under development and targeted for openings in 2024. Year-to-date, Eggs Up Grill has signed on 15 new franchise groups, adding 34 restaurants to its rapidly increasing development pipeline.
