We’re in that sweet spot after the summer heat but before the winter freeze. Celebrate the change in seasons – along with the Fall Festival fiestas out there – with some of the amazing events happening around The Woodlands. Here’s a list of our top five favorites!

Memorial Hermann Canopy Cancer Survivor Center is hosting its 2nd annual ‘Let’s Talk Breast Cancer Panel - Lunch & Learn’ today at 11:45 a.m. Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Diana M. It’s time for the annual Halloween at the Y - Trunk ‘n’ Treat at The Woodlands Family YMCA at Branch Crossing. Admission is free and open to the community. Evening includes Trunk ‘n’ Treat, face art, photo booth, bubble station, games, treats, treats and more treats, friendly costumes, music, concessions, and much more. Plus attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help stock the shelves at the YMCA Food Pantry for the holidays. Presented by Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands.

Saturday, October 28

Local singer turned international sensation Parker McCollum will be taking the stage alongside the Josh Abbott Band at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion tonight. Conroe boy Parker’s music incorporates genres as diverse as blues, roots rock, soul and folk rock, country, and Americana. His music has received rotation on Americana radio stations in particular, and he has referenced Americana singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham as a significant influence. Other stylistic influences include alternative country musician Ryan Adams, blues and folk artist Townes Van Zandt, and pop rock artist John Mayer and country musician George Strait.

Saturday & Sunday, October 28 - 29

It’s your last weekend to blast the bejeebers out of zombies! Join Texas Legends and Warrior Guard in their inaugural Zombie Hunt/Walk. During your adventure, you will be guided through five different areas infested with zombies. Groups of 10 will be guided through these areas with an expert in zombie protection and elimination. Your guided trip through the infected zones should take approximately 15 - 20 minutes, depending on your skills with a zombie gellyblaster and ultimately whether or not you survive all five infected zones! The fun will take place 7 - 10 p.m. each evening. A portion from each participant will be going towards travel expenses, equipment and competition fees for Warrior Guard. $35 per person, unlimited belly balls, refill zone at the halfway point.

Princesses, pirates, ghosts and goblins are invited to don their costumes and enjoy a spooktacular celebration at The Woodlands Township’s annual Trick or Treat Trail featuring Monster Mash at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center. Children can trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from local vendors. This free event also includes strolling entertainment, carnival games, costume contests, photo areas, food trucks, and more. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 costumes per contest. No age group or categories. Coolers, picnic baskets. blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
