Owner of Radiance Medical Aesthetics & Wellness receives coveted award

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Lauren Olson, PA-C, founder and owner of Radiance Medical Aesthetics & Wellness in The Woodlands is being honored as a Distinguished Woman in Medical Aesthetics by The American Med Spa Association (AmSpa) in Miami this December.

Ms. Olson is one of 30 women in the U.S. to receive this honor, as one who goes above and beyond to set high standards and foster growth within the medical aesthetics industry.

Radiance has been voted the #1 medspa in the Woodlands five years in a row and the team has grown from 5 to 27 employees in 18 years. After 16 years in Indian Springs, Ms. Olson built a new luxury 7000 square foot facility in April of 2021, and moved her team and business during the pandemic.

Ms. Olson holds a degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M and a degree in Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. She has practiced medicine since 1982 in the fields of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Family Practice. In 1995, Ms. Olson began practicing clinical skincare and has expanded her practice to include advanced aesthetic skincare, anti-aging, and functional medicine.

She is a sought-after speaker and educator, and as such, has spoken nationally and internationally. Ms. Olson is a mentor and a trainer and has had many young people shadow her in her practice. She is on the faculty of Allergan Medical Aesthetics and is a trainer and Key Opinion Leader for MINT PDO threads.

When Ms. Olson is not working, she enjoys travelling the world, experiencing different cultures, sites, and food. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 45 years, her children, and grandchildren. She is honored and humbled to be recognized with this exclusive award.
