MCTX Sheriff Holds Employee Promotion and Awards Ceremony

CONROE, TX -- On October 31, 2023, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office held its bi-annual awards ceremony at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe, Texas. The event was well-attended by family, friends, and colleagues who came to celebrate the promotions and accomplishments of the Sheriff's Office personnel. During the ceremony, Sheriff Rand Henderson recognized 27 deserving individuals who had been promoted between May 2023 and the date of the event. In addition to the promotions, nine Deputies were awarded the title of Specialist. The Sheriff's Office also acknowledged several personnel for their commendable work, including P.A.C.T. Awards, Life-Saving Awards, Unit Citation Awards, a Combat Cross Award, and a PACT Award of Excellence.

The awards ceremony is a true testament to the high level of professionalism, bravery, and commitment demonstrated by the Sheriff’s Office personnel, who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents of Montgomery County. The appreciation and recognition accorded to them by Sheriff Rand Henderson and the community at large was well-deserved and a source of great pride for all involved.
