THE WOODLADNS, TX -- The College Park Cavaliers and the Conroe Tigers are both in playoff contention with a winner take all matchup at Woodforest Bank Stadium. The Friday night game took place on a cool evening with the Cavaliers and Tigers in a must win situation for the fourth seat in the playoffs.

In the first quarter Conroe strikes first with a bomb down the middle to instantly take the lead 7-0. College Park attempted to counter with a couple of shots but ended up in field goal territory instead. Unfortunately, one kick was just wide and the other hit the goal post which left College Park scoreless.

Conroe would score once again but this time College Park was able to answer back making it a one touch down game going into halftime. This would make it 14-7 heading into the locker room.

College Park would struggle on offense although creating a few fumbles on special teams and defense. Conroe would quickly stop them from capitalizing on the turnovers but College Park was able to sneak one in. This would once again make it a one touchdown game, 21-14.

In the final quarter Conroe would hit the endzone five more times with a quarter back sneak and a couple of touchdown runs. College Park would score two more touchdowns but it wouldn’t be enough to catch the Tigers.

Conroe would take the win 55-28 and the fourth-place seat in the playoffs along with Willis, The Woodlands and Oak Ridge.
