Woodlands Online, Community Impact, and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce partner to bring the 2024 Primary Candidate Debates and Forum on Feb. 8

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Woodlands Online has partnered with Community Impact and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce to co-present the 2024 Primary Election Candidate Debates and Forum event on Thursday, February 8. The event will take place at the Walter P. Jett Teaching and Learning Center near Woodforest Stadium.

The deadline to file as a candidate in the March 5, 2024 primary elections is December 11. While filings after the posting of this story can change things, it is expected that contested races that will be invited to attend the debates and forum will include Commissioners for Montgomery County Precincts 1 and 3; Montgomery County Sheriff; Texas State Representatives for Districts 3, 15, and 18; Constable for Montgomery County Precinct, 2; Senate District 7, and Congressional District 2.

Representatives for Woodlands Online and Community Impact will alternate in moderating the individual races. Stay tuned to Woodlands Online for details as events progress.
